The access cover and rack system greatly increases the hauling and storage capacity of your truck by providing additional levels of storage above the tonneau cover. Its unique design makes all of your cargo easily accessible without the need to remove the rack or its contents. Just simply roll up the tonneau cover to gain access to the truck bed. The rack is available in a low clearance (10" height) or a high clearance (Height depends on cab height but will be slightly above the cab generally 24" to 27" height). Received prompt and courteous help. Making the purchase was a breeze. RealTruck shipped the parts when they said they would. Based on this experience I'll be back for other my other truck accessories. As for the Access Roll-up Tonneau Cover & Rack: Within an hour and a half of opening the box I had the tonneau cover frame and cover assembled and in place. In another 30 minutes I had the rack assembled and connected to the tonneau cover frame. For the most part, the directions were clear. Either photos or drawings illustrated parts assembly. The one place I stumbled was with properly orienting the underside of the tonneau cover metal bar that sits at the cab end of the truck bed. The photo showing the proper orientation of this piece was a dark on my copy of the directions. It became obvious I had my orientation backwards to what the directions wanted once I tried to attach this part. The high rack assembly is simple. The cross bars have a channel on the top and bottom. The kit includes some foam rope to put in these channels "in case there should be wind noise" when driving. Without the foam I got a very loud whistling at about 30-35mph and it got worse with speed. Before attaching any rack accessories, I suggest you fill at least the top channel with this foam rope if your rack accessories don't actually require using the channels. (If your accessories do require the channel be sure to fill in all of the channel that your accessories don't actually use.) I found there was enough foam to fill the bottom channel if you should still get a whistle. Any wind noise after doing this is probably from your rack accessories. My Yakima MightyMount based kayak rack accessories were a snug fit with the cross bars. At Interstate speeds I hauled two 17 foot sea kayaks over 700 miles with out a problem or rack whistling noise. For me adjusting the racks forward or backward was a pain. To move them easily I discovered I had to loosen up all of the cross bar and angle bar fittings screws in addition to the screws that attached the rack to the tonneau frame. Once I loosened all of the screws, adjusting the racks forward and backward became much much easier. Not as easy as I would have liked, but a whole lot easier than before.

You should note that the rack/tonneau system only covers 1/2 of the stake hole, at least on a Dodge. You will need to purchase stake hole covers if you wish to avoid having half of each stake hole exposed. No big deal. All in all a very nice system.

My first one was 11+ years old and when I sold my truck to buy a new one, this was the first accessory that I had to replace! The rack system is a first for me and I love it. It is easy to install and use and is infinitely configurable. When not in use you can remove the clipping mechanisms and the have just the bedcover which is a considerably lower profile. This is one accessory that you don't want to live without.

It fit perfectly and looks great. Be sure to do a thorough job installing the supplied foam in the rack crossbars or else you will get lots of wind noise.
