- Get Up To 24% Better Gas Mileage In Seconds
- Save Gas And Improve Performance In Minutes.
- Easy Installation: Simple drop-in install into intake tube or air canister.
- Increases mileage and horsepower by making air move more efficiently through your vehicle’s engine.
- Lifetime warranty - stainless steel construction.
- Fast & Easy: The Tornado Air System is the fastest, easiest way to get dramatic fuel savings and improved horsepower. In just seconds you can quickly and easily insert the Tornado Air System into your fuel injected vehicle’s intake tube or drop it into your carbureted vehicle’s air canister - either way you get the same results; better gas mileage and increased horsepower.
- Units for Fuel Injected Engines: "ki" units may be installed on either the throttle body or mass air sensor/air filter side. To ensure proper fit of a 'ki' unit measure the inside diameter of the air intake hose. The 'ki' units come in 5mm increments and will fit 1mm smaller to 3mm larger than the specified unit. Ex: a ki-60 unit will fit a hose that measures 59mm to 63mm; a ki-65 unit will fit a hose that measures 64mm to 68mm; etc.
- Units for Carbureted (and Throttle Body Injected) Engines: To ensure proper fit of a 'kc' unit remove the air lid cover and measure the height from the base of the housing to the lid at 3in away from the center. This is most easily accomplished by removing the air lid cover and placing a flat edge across the top of the air filter, then taking a height measurement from the base to the flat edge at 3 inches away from center. Then do the same with the lid. Merely add or subtract the lid height from the base height, depending upon whether the lid drops below the top of the filter or rises above the filter.

Question: What is the TORNADO? Answer: The TORNADO is a stainless steel, non-moving device that inserts into the air intake hose on a fuel injected vehicle and inside the air filter housing on a carbureted vehicle.
Question: How does the TORNADO work? Answer: The TORNADO swirls the incoming air, literally mixing the air and fuel together more efficiently. A more efficient mixture means a more efficient burn.
Question: What is the life expectancy of the TORNADO? Answer: The TORNADO is made of stainless steel and has no moving parts, therefore there is no deterioration of the product. Once installed, the TORNADO does not need to be cleaned or replaced.
Question: Is the TORNADO easy to install? Answer: Normally, the TORNADO only takes 5 minutes to install. On fuel injected models you merely disconnect the air intake hose between the air filter box and the engine intake, compress the TORNADO with you hand, and slide it into the hose. The outward pressure will hold the unit in place. Then just re-connect the hose. On carbureted models you merely remove the air filter housing lid and drop the TORNADO over the stud(s). Then replace the lid.
Question: Does my vehicle require two units? Answer: Most vehicles only require 1 TORNADO unit. Since the concept of the TORNADO is to swirl the airflow, adding a second unit will only re-swirl the same air. Testing has shown a minimal difference between 1 or 2 units. Some vehicles require 2 units due to their dual throttle body intakes, installed directly after a “Y” or “H” connector.
Question: Do I need to reset my mass air flow sensor? Answer: 90 % of the vehicles do not require the mass air flow sensor to be reset. However, since you are already under the hood we recommend that you reset the mass air flow sensor by disconnecting the positive terminal of the battery for approximately 5 minutes, allowing the computer to re-calibrate when next starting your engine.
Question: Will the TORNADO void my manufacture warranty? Answer: No. The TORNADO is patented and is also licensed by the California Air Resources Board, EO#267-3
Product Installation Warning: Product warning: Any person installing the tornado unit must read all product warnings and instructions. The tornado unit must fit tightly when installed. The unit must not be able to move or slip at all after installation. If the unit does not fit tightly and/or moves or slips at all after installation, remove the unit immediately and do not under any circumstances reinstall the unit in your vehicle. In the unlikely event that the unit does not fit tightly and/or moves or slips after installation, please call 1-800-500-8880 for assistance and a free replacement unit. Failure to follow the installation instructions or heed all product warnings could result in property damage, serious bodily injury, and/or death.

How It Works The Tornado's unique airflow dynamics creates a swirling, fast-burn effect in the combustion chamber. This creates finer particles (atomized fuel), allowing better flame propagation and more complete combustion, resulting in gas mileage increases averaging 1 to 2 MPG. These figures are confirmed by road testing performed at an emission lab licensed by the EPA. |
