Most Stock Vehicle suspensions are a compromise.. ride comfort vs. maximum hauling or towing capability. Lighter vehicles handle poorly when loaded and heavier vehicles provide a rough ride when unloaded. Firestone Air-Rite Spring Suspension Systems eliminate the compromise. Firestone Air-Rite Springs can be adjusted with air pressure to compensate for varying loads and road conditions, while providing a more comfortable ride. Firestone Air-Rite Spring Systems are the highest quality available. Every system is designed and specifically for each application to maximize safe load carrying capacity, stability and ride quality of the vehicle. Firestone Air-Rite Spring Systems include two air springs, all necessary installation hardware and fittings for manual air pressure adjustment along with detailed installations instructions. For added convenience, Firestone offers a variety of Air Accessory Systems. These kits provide fingertip adjustment of air pressure from within the passenger area of the vehicle.

When the vehicle is loaded, the air springs help the existing suspension carry the load and improve the ride a great deal.

Do the air helper springs replace the existing suspension?

The air springs are attached to the existing suspension nothing is removed or altered.

Do the air springs increase the payload capacity of my vehicle?

The air springs maximize a vehicles carrying capacity within the vehicles GVWR. Do not overload the vehicle.

Will the air helper springs stabilize my vehicle?

Yes, the more air pressure you add the less vehicle movement you get in return.

What's included in the basic kit?

Nuts, bolts, brackets, air springs, air line and manual inflation valves. Everything is included for a manual inflation system.

Can I have different air pressures in each air spring?

The ability to compensate for off-center loads is one of the best features of the air spring. Yes you can have different pressures in each air spring.

Where should I mount the inflation valves?
