It took a few minutes to get the correct orientation, but after that, the installation was simple and quick. This was my biggest issue, and the reason for the 4 stars is the bars fit snuggly against the truck, and make the "step" part useless. I asked about longer brackets, but rampage does not make longer brackets for these bars.. Unfortunately, 2 weeks after install, my truck was hit by a red light runner, and totaled. But for those two weeks, things looked great.
